Diets usually make us hungry most of the time, and we are constantly thinking about that piece of chocolate cake that we would love to eat. By adding fiber to our diets, we will suppress our appetite, which in turn will allow us to stay on our diet. It helps you to feel full and helps to digest the food you have eaten. Fiber is important to anyone who is trying to lose weight and keep it off.

The even more important benefit of fiber is that it reduces your risk of diabetes, heart disease, colon cancer and stroke.
